The PRS is a fantastic stock, however they are not light. Haven't gotten to shoot it prone yet, but I don't foresee having issues. (Scope mount finally came in 5/14)
Kill-flash for when you're going to have people shooting back at you, otherwise sunshade.
It's your fault :P

Oh yeah, forgot this one tidbit:
Weight: 14lb 2oz (with 762sdn6), 12lb 6oz (without 762sdn6)
Unloaded with empty magazine

good God that's heavy. I like it. :)

Realized you didn't mention caliber, and I assumed it was 7.62 Nato. But now I'm thinking it's not - not sure Sabre ever made .308 ARs.

I was considering a Rock River LAR8 as they use FAL mags (purportedly) as a good platform for a DMR. That is, if I can sell this last M1...

That's what I (finally) figured. I'm not really interested in another 5.56 gun... Nor converting any of my classics to use a scope. AR-10(ish) rifles aren't that expensive now, compared to 5-10 years ago. And, although my M76 is considered a DMR, the AK pattern isn't really suited to the role. Also eats very expensive ammo only.

re: K31. Are you shooting GP11 surplus or commercial? I've got some Hornady vintage match poly tipped that I haven't shot yet.

Nice build.

Are you using 20rd mags with 6-9" Harris? Because I've noticed on the AR I just put together the 30rd pmag is too tall even with the bipod fully extended but the pmag does have the dust cover on the bottom. This is my first AR with a Harris on it so maybe this is common knowledge or something I haven't really looked into it. I just order a Harris 9-13" swivel bipod and figured is be good. But figured I'd ask since you are using the the 6-9 bipod.

Build one in 6.5 Grendel :P
I only have GP11 right now.

I am using 20rd mags (Lancers).
The ADM QD mount for the bipod adds some height and will supposedly clear a 30 round magazine. I'll try it with the pmag's i used for my 300blk and take some pictures tomorrow.

I thought I could see some additional mount to your bipod but wasn't sure. The Free float handguard I have on my new rifle has a QD stud directly on it so I don't get that additional height.

As for the Lancer mags how do you like those? I have been looking at getting some of their clear mags but have heard about feeding issues when them. Something to do when the bolt is closed when the mag is load into the rifle the bullets become unseated once the bolt is opened.

I haven't had any issues with the L5AWM's. I got them so they'd match the rifle while not being FDE Pmags (which are reserved for supersonic 300blk in my system).

With the Harris 2 notches out, the 30 rd pmag will clear to hold the rifle level. 30rd GI magazines will clear at 0 notches out.
At rest (without rear monopod), the rifle will either sit on the mag or will tilt to one side.
