Anyone here own land or have a friend that owns land in the Upstate (the closer to Simpsonville, the better) with a safe shooting lane of anywhere from 200 to 600 yards? Not interested in paying hundreds per year to the Greenville Gun Club for a 300 yard range and Philson Crossroads is only 100 yds. Can't seem to find any place to sight in scopes for a 2 or 300 yard zero and do occassional practice at hitting paper over 100 yds away. All suggestions appreciated! Thanks in advance.

For what it is worth...I am looking at a Belton Gun Club brochure here on my desk and it says it has "100 and 300 yard rifle ranges". I am not a member but I know of a few people on this forum that are.

I am in Simpsonville and it doesn't *look* like too much longer of a drive than it would be to the local indoor ranges in Greenville. The gentleman that owns the local gun/pawnshop on Main Street in Simpsonville is a member of Belton (and this forum) and is the person I got the brochure from.

Anyway, thought I would throw that out there....

Thanks, MCA. I have actually heard of the Belton Club and forgot all about it. If by chance you decide to visit or join, please share your impressions of the place (price, membership requirements/restrictions, cleanliness, amenities, overall impression of the ranges). If I go first, I'll do the same. Have a good one and thanks for the reply.
