different types of shooting competitions

How many different disciplines are there in the area? My interest range from U.S.P.S.A to ruger rimfire challenge to cmp style shooting..just shy away from shotgun….cant hit a thing with one and where are they held?

The closest to you is probably Duncan. I hear they put on a good USPSA match. Also there's Double Tap near Wichita Falls.

We got it all here in OK. Lots of matches at OKC Gun Club and at USSA and Oil Capital. Kelly Cambell and Carl Frazier run a steel challenge match in ADA on the 5th Sundays.

Here is a link to the DFW shooters forum. http://www.dfwshooters.org/forum/index.php There are some clubs in the North Dallas area that may be as close or slocer than OKC and Tulsa. There is a big club in Texarkana that has some good matches too from what I hear.
