I have a buddy that has their little 380 pocket pistol. Its a decent enough but has the same problems most mouse guns have. Mainly feeding issues with certain types of ammo. I know their 9mm pistol had some issues with the slide flying off the frame while being fired that caused a recall.
As long as they aren't reinventing the wheel with the AR I probably would worry about it too much. The company has stood behind their product in the past and I haven't seen any negative comments about their customer service even with the recall.
What did Walmart want for it? Aluminum quad rails are pretty easy to install so you could get another brand with a more recognized reputation and put your own rails on it.
