Lol, my wife knows black snakes copperheads and grass snakes. She kills every one she sees.
My pleading to let them go falls on deaf ears.

I'm pretty sure you are right. If it's the one I'm thinking about, they are pretty much immune to rattlesnake venom. Not sure about other species.
