Car and truck season year 'round.
This one was laying in a suburban front yard, about 100 yards from a major road leading to a 4 lane highway.

I've read stories about how in some locales, volunteers are allowed to harvest these kind of "road kill" deer for donating the meat to homeless shelters. (Presumably if the time of the kill can be established). I always wondered if those kinds of stories were true. Seems like a pretty "sporty" (as in, questionable) proposition to me!

Meh.........
Great wall art.

Still bow hunting, even though today's the second day of the 1st firearms season.
Some moron just fired three shots about ten minutes ago. Just heard another single shot while typing.

Yes, it is possible to take. Generally a conservation oficer must issue a tag.
