Dedicated 22 1911 conversion?

Looking at a dedicated 22LR 1911. I've seen and shot the GSG/Sig 1911 and it was decent but I'm also looking at the conversions since I have a spare frame or two laying around. The Tacsol upper looks nice but them I saw the cost of mags for it. I'd like the option of using a suppressor too.

Anyone have experience with the Tacsol or Marvel uppers?

Marvel uppers are top notch stuff, you can't go wrong with Bob's equipment. as for tacsol I dont have any direct experience with that unit, you could always track down a colt ace! haha

The new Nighthawk uppers have been well received...turns out, they're built by Marvel.

Tac Sol stuff is usually awesome.
At one time they made an aluminum sleeved barrel for their conversion units that was uber cool...and pricey.

The question I have to answer is it $80 per mag awesome?
