Okay, we need to do a pup vs. old (more specifically the mature, refined, experienced group) comparison.
Okay you pups:
How much weight can you Bench? Squat? Deadlift?
How fast can you run one mile?
How much adipose tissue extends horizontally past (and downward) over your belt?
I've got $50 that says if I can pick ten over-45 gents on this forum that we can outshoot ten under-45 pups (rifle, shotgun, and pistol). I remember last year when some pups were giving smack to some of the SASS guys. Two of the SASS guys showed up for a two-gun match and kicked some ass.
I have some young'uns around these parts that try to play the psych-you-out game before matches. In our last match (27 shooters) a 25-year-old Marine Vet won, a 26-year-old Army vet was second. I (Army vet, steel pot era) was third by .5 seconds and behind the winner by only 5 seconds. They know I'm going to kick their butts real soon now that I have more time to practice. They are never going to hear the end of "tell your girlfriend the old guy whooped your ass" comments.
