Very interesting and well written article.

Knowledge is true power, and yet our politicians continue to use manipulation of the facts to forward their agenda. It's too bad that sometimes it actually works. Happy to say this was not one of those times, however, the subject is far from closed I'm afraid.

It's really sad when they prey on people's emotions and peer pressure to try and garner support for legislation. I suspect that's one of the main reasons why the anti-gun support numbers have fallen so drastically the last week or so. I asked a friend of mine during the height of the debate (who happens to be a Democrat and is unfortunately fairly ignorant when it comes to guns) what he thought about the proposed legislation, and he said he didn't know but he thought something should be done. I have a feeling there were a lot of folks on the reaction-with-thought bandwagon. High Emotion + Legislation = Bad Laws

Good stuff. I heard Brian Williams telling the multitude about the damage done to the Boston bombers car
"There were multiple gunshots to the vehicle. Some were 9mm and others were larger, like from the M4's like the police carry".
Gov. Christie wants to include a ban on Barret .50 cal's. Am I missing out on the news that someone was assaulted with a .50 in numerous instances? Maybe they were but there was just too little left to determine the cause of death.

I wonder if Christie understands his proposed legislation will make .50 and .54 caliber Muzzle loaders illegal as well?
Well for the moment just be glad you are safe behind the walls of Oklahoma and they have to land by the sea to invade from Texas. But I do feel sorry for the pro gunners in NJ and probably the whole east coast.
