Daniel Defense tried to run an ad about a US Marine returning home to protect his home and family
The ad was rejected by the NFL stating it violated the rules for ads during the game
its being covered by NRA news

Its a total BS deal by the NFL they allowed the politicians to run anti gun ads during the game last year.

I don't know if I will watch the game after viewing the report on NRA news

This is a real shame.

not sure why it didn't embed the vid.
Most of the time it does, but sometimes it just won't

I would bet any money that DD never thought this would get aired and they were counting on the inevitable tornado of gun forum butthurt to generate a bunch of free advertising.

So stop watching football. You could be shooting! BTW, that ad is such a sappy bag of marketing slobber Daniel Defense should be ashamed. Fox denied the ad, using the NFL rules as guidelines. It's #5 on their list of banned topics. Number 1 is condoms.

IDK about you guys but I'm back on their side.
Send me a private message when you need antibiotics for the souvenirs you get from all that rawdogging.........lol. It is only 4 pills and a shot in the ass. We administer at least 10 doses a shift! Haha

From What I have seen the only thing the NFL took issue with was the image of an AR in the Daniel Defense logo. When DD resubmitted the add by altering their own logo to replace the AR with an American flag the NFL still denied based on offensive content. To my understanding that is what caused the outrage.

Kind of funny what offends some people. There are countless examples of grossly overpaid people in the NFL committing sexual assaults, shootings, drunken driving resulting in injury or death, plain old assaults, destruction of property, tax fraud etc. Not to mention some of their epic speeches or gestures.

This is a violation of NFL policy but the Captain America trailer that shows people getting shot at, and the new 24 season trailer of a dude racking a pistol is fine?

I guess one is an ( ART FORM ) and one is a product. The ( ART FORM ) makes people think it's cool to do , the product has no voice. So numbnuts watch the ( ART FORM ) and try to find the closest product to perform their ( ART FORM ) fantasies.

Jack Bauer is rocking a HK?

REALLY? ????!!?!?!?!

The show is called "24" not "dumbass sits around in a gun store all day telling me about how his pistol he can't shoot is awesome."

Come on, the NFL banned MTV from the halftime show because Janet Jackson had a "wardrobe malfunction". How many viewers were really offened by that?
