Dan Wesson Dan Wesson holster

Hi I need some help with a holster for my Dan Wesson 5" Specialist. I shoot uspsa, and that's what's it's going to be used for. I am currently using a Redhill Tactical holster. RHT advised me to get a holster for the TRP 5" full rail. But, I'm having a problem when drawing the gun on the start signal, if I don't draw the gun perfectly, it gets hung up and stuck. I'm using the holster with the BOSS hanger. Any know a maker that makes them specifically for that particular gun?

I've used Blade-Tech holsters with good results in USPSA.
I believe they have a 5" 1911 holster that will fit just fine.

They don't make it for lefties. [emoji26][emoji1787]

The only lefty holster that fits a 1911 has a light attached.

Have you reached out to Garrett Industries ? Maker of the Silent Thunder series of greatness.


They make some spectacular leather lined kydex holsters.....that give you the tactile "click" yet are smooth & quiet due to leather lining.

He makes IWB, OWB, AIWB and each has a pile of different cant adjustments. (once you find your happy position then hit the screws with medium thread locker and you'll be good to go).

Another benefit is that he's fairly quick on delivery, too.



Tucker Gunleather also makes some very nice leather-lined kydex, however you'll be waiting much, much longer.
