CZ 75?

I want to get a cz 75 what do you think of them?

My CZ 75 Compact is one of my favorites. Several thousand rounds without a hiccup. The accuracy is on par with my other 9's.
For my hands, it's very comfortable, the controls are where they should be and it points naturally...for me.

It is a little old school in it's design, but I'm okay with that. Finding accessories can be a bit difficult, holsters and the like.

if you like the way it feels in your hand buy it... they are good guns and more than fine for plinking..

I'm going to get the cz 75 or a Browning hipower. I'm really getting into all metal guns. Nothing wrong with polymer I've had a ton of them. I just like blued and stainless guns.

I had the option between a CZ 85B (ambidextrous CZ 75) and a Hi Power. Being young and stupid, I chose the CZ even though the Hi Power is regarded as a better gun. But I don't regret it. The CZ's feel for me was fantastic, especially with a full mag. The curvier grip was much more reassuring than the blocky Hi Power's. The only time I had a FtF with the CZ was using some reloads with flat point bullets that were especially short in their overall length. Most of the time it's quite happy with hollow points or FMJs. Perhaps the only downside to the CZ is the cost of extra magazines.

The CZ is a great gun - my ONE complaint is with the inside the rail slide - there isnt a lot of real estate on the slide to cycle it. Other than that - super accurate and has a great following as one of the most accurate 9mm's around

This is the only complaint I've ever heard about them and I do agree that there isn't a lot of room on the slide to manually cycle, but it is an awesome gun - I've owned two CZ 75s and now own a P-01. I'd like to get another for my wife to carry to be honest.

I went through my metal-gun phase so I understand :). I'd get a CZ before you get bit by the Sig bug - that gets expensive.

I ended up getting a xdm of all things. My buddy brought one out and I shot it and loved it. It is accurate and feels good in my hand.

Well, the CZ75 is great for any use, of course, but particularly the stated use of plinking, because let's face it, you don't really need extreme accuracy in a defensive pistol. But extreme accuracy (for a semi auto handgun) IS what you have with the inherently-accurate-frame-on-outside-of-slide design of the CZ 75 and clones. It's really fun, for example, to shoot a 4" swinging plate at 25 yards with a CZ 75 (just as it is with a revolver), because with these more accurate type of guns, you're gonna hit it 4 to 5 times out of 5 with an average skill level, whereas with your average stock out of the box pistol from younameit brand, you might hit 2 or 3 times out of 5 with the same skill. Save for tight high-end 1911s and such (P210, Perf. Ctr S&Ws, etc.). So you get custom-style accuracy at a budget price (just as you do with CZ rimfire rifles).

So yes, CZ 75 highly recommend. A 75 is in my bedroom and goes to the range on most days that I'm shooting handguns.

I've never owned a CZ75, but I've only ever heard great things about them. I'm sure they're great guns. My CZ82 is fantastic, especially when you consider that it's Eastern European military surplus.
