CWP renewal

Has anybody had to renew their CWP lately? I have to renew mine this year and am wondering how the new process went being that it's being farmed out to a private company.

we sent ours in, you are only supposa do it 30 days prior.

our should be in the mail this week, we shall see....

Unless I missed something, the farming out of CWP's was nixed last year before it started.

You can renew online now, but only within 90 days of expiration. If you want to do it on paper, you need to do it 120 to 90 days before expiration.

That plan to farm the CWP was axed beginning of last summer.

I had mine renewed about 3 months ago and the state did it...

I also heard that they axed the private contractor plan...

It took about 3 weeks to get mine renewed...But, you can not do it before 60days from experation, if I remember right...

I renewed mine a couple years ago online. It only takes about three clicks and you are done. If I remember correctly all you needed to do is put in your permit number then select the payment method. Mine was free since I'm 100% VA disabled. Anyone with 10% or more VA disability permits and renewals are free.

Well thats a relief! I had heard something about the state axing the private company idea but wasn't sure so I thought I'd ask.

Do you remember where you went online to renew? That sounds like the easiest route & I am coming up for renewal soon also.

Mine is up for renewal in Q4 of this year so I may do it by mail just because there are a few things I wish to disclose to ensure no problems during the renewal process. Can't believe it's been about 4 years already!!

ours came in the mail yesterday.

they charged us for the wifes, and not for mine, so i guess my 10% VA disability worked
