Not looking for an exact number just get me in the ballpark.

I have a Remington 700 I am considering getting the barrel cut down on.
What would it cost me to get it cut and recrowned?

Now you know you gotta go big or go home so you also need to get it threaded and a custom thread protector. The threading is $40 and the thread protector is $45. Chester does an amazing custom job. He has done all my rifles except claytons and trust me his is next. The best part is once its threaded you will just have to get a suppressor to go on it from me.

Don't mean to jump the thread....but...Henry. How long is the wait for a stamp...Anyone got one locally???

I keep thinking about it...

They are saying 4-6 months on the form 4 but I have been cleaning house with forms right at about 3 months in the past month. Somebody lit a fire under ATF's butt I guess.

Tactical Innovations has a pretty bad arse 5.56mm can called the Tac-16. I can do it for $420 + Tax and your $200 stamp.

If I went with a silencer, it would have to be fo rmy Walther P-22....It is the only thing I have with a threaded barrel...
Got to start small....

Hmmm
A 18 inch heavy barrel 700 with a can.
That might be kinda cool.
A brake would be more in my price range though, cuz I still want that Surbu.
