I think i will bite my tongue on this one and try to keep it polite.

The ladies series payout was donated by Samson (who is free to donate their money in any way they see fit) in order to attract more females to shooting sports. Try getting into a major match these days and you will see that there is definitely no shortage of males. If we try to attract more males into shooting you get just that, ONE more shooter. If you get a female into the sport you are more likely to attract the entire family. The Pro-Am this year had 40 females, something that was unheard of before this year.

i would much prefer to continue to promote all shooting sports in a effort to keep our american heritage alive in an environment where we are on the verge of being outnumbered by those who would rather take it away under the false pretense of personal safety, than i would receiving another 25K toward the mens pro series.

Why shouldn't the best women shooters win as much as the best men shooters?

Because they are shooting the same competition, the same course of fire. What is a competition? Is it fair to say to women that they need to have their own special prizes, that they cant compete with men, and take their trophies and prizes? I think some could. I think that some woment probably wouldnt be shooting if there werent a women's division. Just seems like subsidizing a class of shooters so they can be convinced to participate.

thats a good and noble reason, and just because I dont think thats where 2nd amendment issues need to be focused doesnt mean that its wrong or isnt a good thing. Tell me that gun and gun-related companies arent looking at women as a market and Ill call you a liar.

I don't want to get into a big debate over men vs women shooters. I see exactly why Samson put up the $ for the ladies pro tour. They want to see this.

Personally I think the way to get more families involved is to donate $25,000 to the Generation III Gun Championship to help Juniors get into more matches.

I dont know much... but have any of you had your ass handed to you by a woman. ?. It sucks.. especially whan it is you wife. Trust me it is a month or better before you hear the end of it....

I have mine handed to me by everyone. That's why I'm going to be forced to wear suspenders next season, there's not enough ass left to hold up my belt.

I try to keep pretty accurate tabs on what it cost me to try not to lose money shooting matches all year. I shot 19 major state, regional or national level matches in pistol, shotgun, 2 gun, and 3 gun disciplines. I thought I would share my expenditures from this year's major matches in case anybody else has dreams of becoming a "Pro" shooter.

Well at least it looks like I'll be getting a tax refund this year.

$50,000 is going to go a long way to making the "black" column look a lot better!
