Looks like Jesse won the Nordic Components tactical shotgun match up in MN, and Chris won that H&H top-shot type competition at H&H.

Well done! What kind of guns were they using?? Hmmmmm.

A Taurus Judge and an H&R single-shot? :P
I hope we get some details, because this is interesting.
Congratulations you two.

Thanks man! The Accurate Iron Benelli ran 100% on all 9 stages. I never had to touch the charging handle after the buzzer. In match that was decided by 6.8 match points in a ~700 point match the M2's reliability was paramount!

Jesse's win is a bit bigger than mine (congrats bro!). But I will say it was pretty cool to be interviewed by Bob Barry Jr. for Radio/TV after winning a shooting event...

Thanks to H&H for putting on a really fun event!

chris can you describe exactly how this event went down?? how was it set up, what were the stages, how did it work??
also congrats to both..

Basically they wanted to do a local version of Top Shot. They had a blind elimination bracket, starting with 64 entrants over multiple rounds.

The first round was a straight 30 round bullseye stage. The remaining stages were basically simple action pistol type stages, some with prop guns, but you never knew what they would be till you showed up.

The opening rounds went on for about a week and a half. You basically could go and shoot each round/stage at your convenience on specified days. Once they narrowed it to eight people they did the final 3 rounds today to decide the winners. The last 8 shot head's up against each other in randomly decided brackets.

We shot a shotgun, and MP5 prop gun at one point. Targets were largely IPDA paper with a few falling targets and even a balloon on one.

congrats to both of you guys.
No one can say either of you don't put in the work, you deserve every win you get.
Great job guys
