The match went well. Thinking about re-using one or two of the stages with minor alterations, since a lot of people wished they hadn't missed this one.

Which stage did everyone like the most and why?

Well the wife and I both had the flu, so I was a no-show, my son was just as upset. Having shot in one of your matches all I can say is I'm sure it was great, and hope to make more of them. Now if the weather will just cooperate!!

It was all great!
I liked:
• movers
• unconventional shooting positions
• one-hand shots

Let's do it again!

Not sure how you would do it from a range control/safety issue, but I would like to see a stage shot by flashlight, like some SOB is in your house. If you could do it safely, I think you draw alot of interest, particularly if you had to distinguish a friendly target from a foe.

Just need an attentive RO for that. It's been done at H&H before. I personally think it's pretty lame, but I have another idea!

The stage starts dark out with a prop gun - a 12 ga. pump action shotgun loaded with 1 round of birdshot - with a weapon mounted light. At start, engage the first target with the shotgun. After the shot is fired, the lights come on.

Move to a table, load handgun (staged unloaded on a table), finish the rest of the COF. Use the tarp/barrier props to simulate a hallway, etc.

That sounds fun

I'd like to try that.
