It's so dry right now but a front looks like its heading this way. Temp has dropped to 83. We have been running two traveling sprinklers pretty much 24 hrs a day just to keep what lawn we have left.

yep, I think it was about 800 deg out at OKCGC during the match yesterday.

When I got in my car this afternoon the temp read 113 degrees, around 39th and Penn in OKC. After I started driving it dropped to 108, and when I hit Edmond it bottomed out at 104.

I have instruments that I have to calibrate in areas that are 150+. Takes a special permit, and we only get 10 minutes in the heat, then 30 minutes outside(100 degrees) to cool off.
Sucks, but its part of the job.
BTW, we only got a sprinkle, unless something elso pops up.

Did we even have a Spring? Seriously it could be worse. It could be this hot while we are surrounded by sand. (Yeah, shameless plug for bless our troops).
