Colt M16 22lr Replicas

Anyone have any experience with these? I know its not a real AR but I handled one last night and it seems well built. Its full metal construction not plastic. Any thoughts?

I don't know if these are the same, but I heard of alot of people having trouble with the Colt 22s. They may have fixed the problems.

I agree. I had a S&W 15-22 and it was a good gun. I have a Ruger SR22 now. It is great gun. I just bought one of the Ruger 25rd mags today for it.

I've always heard those colt's are elephant dung. They are or were made by Umerex (I think) and if they're made by a different company then maybe they're better. There was a dealer that bought 50 of them and he couldn't give them away. He started trying to sell them for different uses. Like he taped a plunger to them and stuck them in a toilet and said it was a Colt tactical plunger. And he stuck them in a drain or a pothole for a drain marker. He had all kinds of these ads all over Armslist a couple years ago. It was hilarious and got quite a bit of attention of the forums.
