COLT 1911

i'm thinking of buying a new colt1911 combat ellite model.mainly because i've allways wanted myself a brand spanking new Colt 1911 lol. now i would like some help from the forum. What would be a fair price on one? who in the upstate would have one?thanks in advance!

Check with Bob at Upstate Armory he might be able to find you one. Other than maybe Academy it pains me to say this but have you checked Traders gun shop in Taylors?

New ones run between $1000-1100. Once in a while Buds Gun Shop on the internet has them for around $985.

i can't do it. the last time i went in Traders gun shop they would not help me.i will never spend a dime in there. but i do have good news! I ordered one today from Cherokee Outfitters in Gaffney,they told me it would prob take 4-6 weeks to get it in.I'm very stoked my dad has one and i love it can't wait for mine to get here

Yea that version doesn't seem to get played as much as the other one but they are overplayed IMO.

anyone remember the "sleeve" they were advertising on WORD?

Did Traders have something to do with that?

They have 3 rifles with the sleeve on them for sale. didnt really take off i guess.

Congrat's on the Colt, i'm looking into a Mar's 1911 and they use Colt's but my HK45c's do a superb job for my .45 need's...BTW, Bob Gott''s at Upstate a few minute's from me is a Great guy. Bought quite a few from him...
