I'm selling a few things and have a guy offering to trade a Colt 100 year anniversary Tier III for about $1k worth of my stuff. Pictures show the Colt is LNIB with all the tags and associated stuff. What is it worth on the open market? I can't find much info on the interwebs.

Thanks!

Thanks Matt. The guy that offered to trade was a bit sketchy and we did not agree. From what I can see they are worth right at $1k but not a limited edition.

Personally, I see that as a stripped down newer model 1911 that's got a jacked up price due to the name on the side.

Very old thread…but

How about the value of my 2010, Special Order 100th Anniversary Colt 1911 with:
-Royal Blue full polish finish
-Never Racked Slide
-New In The Box with all original packaging, G.I. Manual and Checkered grips
-Two original Colt Two-Toned magazines
-Close Grained Elephant Ivory Grips
-Colt Presentation Case
-Colt Authentication Letter
-Stored in the original Colt anti-corrosion paper, in original Custom Shop packaging, in my climate controlled safe.

My very biased estimate: (I looked at it yesterday) Priceless.

In short, the definition of a true Safe Queen…never to be shot by me, but the grand kids can fight over who gets first trigger pull on that beauty.

I think J.M.B. would be very proud of my copy of his masterpiece.

Keep A Good Thought…
