Not sure if gun re-finishing falls under gunsmithing, but figured its as good a place as any.
I'm going to Duracoat my Mossberg 500 and maybe the AR if I have enough color left and wanted an opinion. I have two colors to choose from. Tactical Extreme Dark Grey or OD Green. The AR is all metal of course but the 500 has a wood stock and forend that will be a similar shade to the .22 magnum I did. I really liked the grey over the wood on that project. The finish will be very flat with a satin finish on the wood. I wish I could buy some more colors but with furlough I can only use what I have.
So, OD or grey?
