Clay target holder plans

Does anyone have design specs for clay target holders? Thinking rebar with a short cross piece but since I am not the welder, I don't have the luxury of that much trial and error.

Go pull up some of those home builder / real estate signs that you see all over the right of way. Not the wire ones, but the ones made of a piece of angle iron with thin flat bar supports. Pull the sign off, cut the bottom cross bar support off flush with the angle iron and the top cross bar about an inch on either side.

I made some out of rebar that was basically a cross with the cross bar the ID of a clay. They worked alright but not as good as a GT or MGM.

I have duct taped clays to the barbed wire fence behind my house for practice... Very professional looking and Duct Tape is cheap! haha

You realize everytime you steal one of those signs the Realtor has to replace it right?

Ever since metal got expensive thieves have cost my mother thousands of dollars in signs.

Thou shall not steal realtor signs that say "Ms GT" on them.

Just kidding. Take an 18" piece of #3 or #4 rebar and weld a 2" piece 3" below the top and call it good. Don't steal a Ms Dolan realtor sign and GT will be happy.
