Had to share my excitement a bit. Just got to go see my Liberty Leonidas 300 Blackout Integral Upper.. now the REAL wait begins... possibly 6-7 months as of late.

As you can see, Henry's (HHB) helping me through the NFA process... The YHM Free-float tube is likely to be changed out for a longer version, but for now, it looks great..

The small white mark is just a rub mark that wiped off..

Maybe I'll get visitation during Spring Shootzenfest if Henry visits the event.

I like it.

Sadly it is more like 7-9 months now :(

That is one long can. I bet it sounds sweat
It is long so the 'barrel' length is 16". Only takes one stamp instead of two.

I'm very happy for you (except for the BATFE wait time of course!). I've been seriously considering the Leonidas, so maybe you (or HHB, since they're 'holding' your stuff for you) could help me decide. I run a 300BLK SBR with a 12" Noveske barrel and an AAC 762-SD. It's very front heavy and, well heck, heavy in general. Just to give me something to compare to, is it possible to weigh the upper and to determine the balance point (center of gravity so to speak) on just the upper? I suspect the Liberty suppressor is lighter than the AAC (both have titanium baffle cores I think) and would guess the COG is much further back on the Leonidas. I would also love to hear a side-by-side comparison between my setup and a Leonidas and have been thinking about making an appointment and driving over to Trenton. Thought I was through waiting on stamps but people just keep making cool stuff!

Is that an Option 3 upper? and what's your barrel length? I'm assuming the barrel length affects overall length, so an 8" might be even shorter since I already have a Form 1. Thanks!

Its the Option 3 build with parts I supplied.

If you go by their required parts list, they specify an 8"-9" 1:8 twist with 0.750 diameter at the pistol gas port location. I supplied a Ranier arms 9" barrel (I had a Noveske barrel, but after his passing, I hated to "conceal" the barrel in an integral design.)

The core is SS and the tube is Titanium, IIRC, my Mystic is also built that way. With the bolt carrier in the upper, and the short handguard on it, it feels balanced in the handguard area.. although I wasn't being very precise with my handling.

My build is "unpinned" so it can be taken down, making it an SBR, so its got to go on an SBR, or my pistol lower.

Unfortunately I did not mount it on any lowers to test the balance but I'd expect it might end up being a bit front-heavy, just enough I might have to be picky with the stock, allowing me some balancing by adding weight to some cavities in the stock.

Its also got a PRI Gasbuster, standard 223 bcg, and a slick (no F/A) heavy duty upper. Its set up for YHM free floating handguards, so I'm looking at some rifle length versios to replace the one I had on hand for the build.

I'm hoping to send a 338 Spectre to them soon and create a Leonidas - 338, they've already agreed to consider building it as an option 3 build, with some additional machine time upcharges possible.

The worst part is DEFINITELY the wait!

Will you bring it to shootzenfest and we'll compare my 9" 300blk + 762SD-N6, LiveFreeOrDie's build and your Leonidas (if HHB comes). It should be interesting to see how they compare.

Do you think the PRI GasBuster helps at all with the 300blk?
Wait, it vents it out the left side doesn't it? That would be where my face is :(

Thanks, SC for taking the time to respond.

Paco-If you shoot off your left shoulder, the PRI "might" put some gases in your face, although I've noticed two things: The channel that's cut into the PRI is not very deep and I wonder about the effectiveness of the design (and man is that one pricey charging handle!), and second, the 300BLK, even suppressed, doesn't blow back a fraction of my suppressed 5.56. In fact (and maybe the PRI actually does work), I've not noticed any blowback on the BLK. YMMV.

Agreed on the blowback on 300BLK and 5.56.
My 10.5" 5.56 is a beast, unsuppressed the brake knocks over small children and suppressed it throws 1/4 of the powder out into my face. Maybe I exaggerated a little bit. ;)
I figure the cheapest thing to do would be get some of those surgical face masks with the splash-guard on them to keep the powder out of my face. Might look a little ridiculous though.

The barrel is 8-9" once the build is completed. I provided them with a barrel that they modified for the build.

For the 300BLK builds:
My barrel is an AAC 9" 1:7 twist.
SuperChuck's barrel is a Ranier Arms 8~9" 1:8 twist.
LiveFreeOrDie's barrel is a Noveske 12".
