I use a CED M2, it's simple and easy to use, and I trust the numbers it gives me, my dope is spot on to 1 mile.
I have a couple. The cheap shooting chrony is the one I use most. Cost $20 with a coupon I got out of the paper from Sportsmans Warehouse. Use it more than the others because of its size, it stays in the truck, I always have it when I want it.

I have an F1 Chrony. I think it was around $80. Cheap enough to not cry if you shoot it.

LOL! I loaned my first F1 to a guy for the weekend to work up a load. He decided to chrony some shotgun loads 12 feet from the locator. I know the pattern isn't very big at that range, but a couple of flyers took out the screen. He was good enough to buy me another. I've shot one of the sky screen arms, so yes, they do get shot sometimes.Dustin Cantrell said:

All of the models I've ever shot over are super easy to work with.
Some can be a little picky on overcast days, and never try to chrony a load when fluorescent bulbs are in the area. It makes them go nuts.

I've got to say the CED is hard to beat! cost a bit more but it's the only one I've ever used that would clock those 20gr V Max from my 17 Remington! picked them up all the way to 4278fps then I found out that fouling was real bad lol but even at 3995fps most will only pick up 1 or 2 in a 5 shot string. For 95% of the stuff out there those pro chrony should work fine. Think I like about the CED is all the important stuff is on the bench with you, if you shoot the screens or eyes they are not too bad to replace money wise. Later,
