I own a Chip McCormick 1911 45 Serial # CMC001580 that was given to me by my brother upon his death. Talked to Josh Cole at Chip McCormick LLC and stated it was one of 2000 actually made by Chip. I was thinking of parting with it as I have only had it to range once in the 3 years since I have owned It. Anyone care to guess what it might we worth.

While some (most ?) may want to keep it as a heirloom, there may be reasons for selling the pistol.
Have you checked Gunbroker, to see if any of them have sold there ? If so, might give a clue as to it's worth.
Depending on your location, you could visit some gun stores & see what they'd offer you..
then adjust your price accordingly, knowing they would sell it for more.

I'm not sure it has value beyond what it is. If it's well made, accurate, attractive and has the usual features, I'd think $700-$900 plus any extra someone might pay if it's a documented CMC. I believe it's something he made in the late 80s to early 90s, but the ones he made then may not be your series. Better photos would help.
