We have copperheads around our house. They don't get near as big as rattlers.

I don't have any problem at all with snakes around the house, as we live in the sticks and they help with the rodent issues.
But, we lost a dog to a copperhead bite, and those with fangs die. Others get a pass.

Holy chit that's a big snake. I NEVER use my shotgun, but for something like that, 00 to its head will fix it quick.
