Mmmmm... Beans and cornbread! Sometimes I make beans with onion, bacon, jalapeno, garlic, etc. Then serve with jack cheese and fresh pico on top. Pair with my moist jalapeno cornbread and you have one fine meal!!!
 
Yesterday was awesome weather. I fired up the grill and made some kickass burgers covered in black pepper and then when they were almost done I tossed on some jalapeños then threw a slice of cheese on top and let the heat melt the cheese down and trap the jalapeños.
Delish.

Yer killin me today, Petey! All I had was some saltines and shiner because I'm saving for a new AR barrel. 60 yesterday, 16 today. I did get out yesterday and kick the boys butt at sporting clays, after he talked smack to me all morning. But I have a feeling that I'm not gonna be able to do that much longer. Lol!

I made mesquite-smoked, bourbon brined pork chops. The sear could have been better; I think next time I'm going to light up a half chimney of new coals to sear over when I'm done with the slow cooking part.
