Charleston County Sheriff's Department K-9 Killed

Rumor has it a CCSO K-9 handler left his dog locked in the car in his driveway for a few hours and the dog died.

Wonder what the details are.

there was a new law just made which gives the penality of 30 years for killing a K-9 cop.

and what a bone head.

What law is that?

I can't imagine a penalty for killing a dog being more than the penalty for killing a human.

i cant add the links but i just googled "new federal law for killing K-9".

what i can tell its not 30. i thought i remembered 30.

looks like states have different FELONY penaltys.

the fed law is ARONS law. $1000 and 10 years.

a 16 year old thug in Fla. broke into an ex Highway patrolmans, now a police officer, house burgled it and killed his retired 5 year old shepard, well shot it enough that it had to be put down.

he got 23 years in state prison.
