So, I was minding my business at my favorite gunshop when converted Saiga jumped off the rack in front of me and said "buy me!" I looked it over and saw that it was imported/converted by Century.

I know Saiga's are good
I know Saiga conversions are cool as hell.
I have heard so-so things about Century, but have no good first hand experience.

So, as I decide if I want to buy it, I'd thought I'd turn to you guys and get any opinions. Just so I'm clear, I'm not looking for a M4 style rifle with a ciener .22 conversion, which at this point we are all well aware is the only gun in the world worth owning...

i dont know about that m4 thing. dont get me wrong.

i heard the Army is getting an m4 type lower that will take any upper from 308 to 22.

maybe someone should make a 12 gauge upper for it or an AR.

check the mag well with a russian mag make sure it feels good and tight, you should have a little movement but not A LOT.do a function check and if all is good buy it.romanian century rifles take a lot more checks since century builds them from parts but a conversion main thing is check the mag well out real good thats the only place they have to do machine work.might i ask how much the gunshop is asking for it?

I traded in a rifle I didn't much love for it this afternoon.

Placed to the right of my Wasr-10.
