How is the mechanical integrity of the mixer? The reviews on Harbor Freight's website generally are poor to awful, but they may have been written by human dunce caps.

Most of those people are using them for cement not polishing brass.
Quite a bit of difference in the load.

You probably wouldn't want to depend on it for cement, for an income purpose.

Right, but 30lbs of brass and 10lbs of pin media = one small 40lbs bag of cement. I imagine the amount of water added would be pretty close for either.

Waiting for GT but what about just cutting some PVC in half? May be a 3" one?

On a related note, Sarah is going to **** when I have a cement mixer sitting in the extra bedroom. Somehow I have survived the reloading bench being in the dining room.

I did that for a while too.

Have a dedicated area now. Much nicer. MUCH happier wife!

The instructions are crap. If you read the original post I say to grab a beer and throw the instructions away, and I mean it. The parts can only go together one way, so just sit down, look at them, and don't tighten anything until you get the thing assembled. I'm happy with the quality of the machine, but the instructions were written by someone with only a passing familiarity of English and the diagrams didn't even match the mixer I bought. Also, if you get one just leave the motor cover off, the cover traps way too much heat the the motor will stop until it cools off.

Sounds like someone's buying a cement mixer.

And yes, Tony, I've mixed up and used quite a bit of concrete.

Hell yeah I did. It is badass. I use water, liquid dish soap, and Lemishine. Minimum cleaning is 3000 pieces, and usually 4500+.

I clean brass 2-3 time per year now. Sometimes I clean other peoples brass. It only takes minutes.

Your mom loves me.
