Most people can't be bothered to vote in a general election, let alone a primary. Check Oklahoma's turnout numbers if you don't believe me.

I don't think they're losing much by doing whatever caucus process they're doing.

You are right for most part this year is probably the exception. I still believe Cruz will get the nomination. The thing about the general election is that most of the people about 85% or more don't make up their mind until 10 days before the election. These are your "low information voter" . I beleve Cruz is going to win on that Tuesday in November by a 60-40 margin.
