Carrygun Match THIS Sunday, July 1st at Heartland Outdoors

I think I will bring my 2011 too and get some rounds out with it. I need the practice...er I mean praktizin. That is from my favorite movie, "Sgt York" where he tells the range instructor that he ain't too good at this here practizin.

Still got a spare 442, HKS speed loaders, and holster to loan to anyone that wants to give it a try gotta shoot factory ammo or my reloads at .30 per pop. .25 if I get the brass back.

David -

I've got a stage. Three VTACs, a hostage to shoot around, all I need is a shooting box. Scenario is slow dancing with your hands on your partners hips (no shoot in front - hands on the no shoot) when the three VTACs won't take no about "cutting in". Three to the chest box and one each to the crotch and the head. 15 rounds for the stage.

Anyone got some strobes? Mix in some loud music and we can make this a '60's bad trip flashback.

I may shoot the drop down holster in PDLL to try and figure out where it needs to sit for the CRC.

Do I ned to bring you some money for the mag pouch?

I said '60's not '70's. Tie dyed, headband, purple granny glasses, sandals and jeans not the pale blue leisure suit with the medallion and the platform shoes

David E... will my wifes holster be making a debut this weekend. She can't contact YOU- so she's contacting me... know what I mean?

there is a PM in your box... I will send another

Don. Bring those targets.

Jeff, yes it will! I left a message with your wife.

I'm thinking about having the "Spinning Wheel O' Death" back, too.

WILCO.

Please bring the P-30 mags, I'm going to shoot a different rifle at the CRC - a SOCOM.

Nobody? Come on, who's willing to leave those 18 rd hot rods at home and try a snub? Cleaned it all up today so the cylinder is all silky smooth for reloads.

I am pumped after my last place finish in the snubby division. Just goes to show what just carrying a gun and never practicing can do for you.
I did notice several shooters have shown dramatic improvement since they have been shooting the Heartland match. A couple in particular I can remember being very nervous, trying to rush, and missing as much as they hit. Now they are smooth, accurate, and confident. Some have taken classes and some even practice. "Practice? We're talking about practice man". Might be something to it, they are shooting much better.
One of our moderators here on the forum, Mr Burk, made a very smooth reload last night when he actually had to make one. I was truly amazed. He promised to wear that same rig to Walmart on Nov 1 so I can film him before the cops show up. Maybe we can have a BS meet up to cheer him on.

Did you just insult me, then give me a compliment?

I noticed the mag change too...pretty swift Burkie!

Fun match last night, Thank you to David and all the folks that help make it happen.

THANK YOU to Heartland for holding the matches and keeping the A/C firing on all cylinders :)

Mike, I'm shocked that I didn't finish last.

I screwed up something on every stage I shot and then add in the fact that I just don't shoot the Airweight 442 very well at all. I did go 5 for 5 on the "steel" though and for whatever reason I think I shot the dark stage better than with light. That shocks me too.

I had a great time. Thx david for the stages.
Burk said no way, but i think i should have gotten a bonus for catching a hot brass
behind my glasses, dropin it out doing a reload and still shot the stage clean.lol
Looking forward to the next match.
