David, If I shoot my G26 but run G19 magazines, will I be in the hi-cap division?

Hicap division is based on the capacity of the magazine, not the size if the gun. Were it me, I'd run the 26 with a 33 rd mag.....
will we be shooting at an AK or be allowed to use one? Please please let me bring my yugo,I have german plastic Frangible ammo,I wanna Tear some terrorists up.

I want to emphasize that the Hicap Challenge is OPTIONAL and it is otherwise a regular match
For example, on a 3-target array, only hicap division will be required to shoot each one three times, everyone else will shoot them twice. 5-shot snubbies would utilize DRT scoring.

This was a great match! I showed up an hour late but still got to shoot, couldn't use my primary gun because the new front sight was too high for the holster, and one of the new shooters lent me an IWB to use for my backup gun. Which made me a Lo Cap shooter, but that was cool. A bunch of BoomerShooter members were there, and I won one of the $50 certificates. Starting a stage with an AK was super badass.

When we highlight Hicap division, we REALLY highlight it!
23 shooters in Hicap were put to the test and met the challenge! The other divisions were tested just as thoroughly and saved a few bucks on ammo.
It was the first time many shooters had ever fired an AK, but everyone handled it fine
The 40 rd AK47 raffle sparked a lot of interest and I heard more than one shooter talk about getting one.
The AK will be back next time and maybe we'll have another 40 rd raffle.
Next time, we will modify the 45 rd stage to something a little less, while keeping the challenge high.
