Carry Gun Match - February 19 Heartland Outdoors

David, I think we has a stage sometime back using one of Heartlands rental guns as a battlefield pickup. Something like a shoot to slidelock then move forward to down your pistol on a table then pickup a pistol that was empty load and fire X number of shots at last target, I thought that was very fun.

It was fun and everyone enjoyed it! Well, except for Benjamin. I didn't allow downloading your mags, so he had to crank out 20 rds. I still hear about it over a year later.

If we set this up like this: we pair up. You use my gun, I use yours. Next match, we each shoot the our own lent gun for the same match set up. Wouldn't it be interesting if I shot your gun better than you did?

But let's table this for now. I'm thinking October/November would work best for this.

I like this idea. My gun only shoots my custom hand loads with High primers

Now will the April 1911 single stack be a 45ACP shoot?
They come in several flavers now 9mm/40cal or will it matter as long as it is a 1911 frame?

I'm sure it's 1911 frame as David has never made a distinction before, for next several matches I'm giving my 45 1911's a rest and pulling out the 9mm 1911......... of course half price ammo and no recoil does not hurt ether.

The only distinctions will be 1911 single stack, metal frames shooting a centerfire round.

I tweaked my knee yesterday and won't be attending this one tonight. Burk, we will need to plan on our Glock 26 duel next time. I was looking forward to it but there's no way today.
