Carry Gun / Action Pistol Match Sunday November 2, 2014 @ 6:00 PM at Safety 1st!

Where: Safety 1st Gun Range
1456 N. Kelly Avenue
Edmond, OK 73003

Signup: Sign up starts at 5:30pm

Match Type: Handgun, emphasis on carry guns and holsters, but all are welcome.
Stages: Four
Round Count: 100 rounds should cover most matches.

Equipment: Practical guns .380 or larger, carried in practical gear. Holster (required) must cover trigger guard. Two spare magazines or 3 speedloaders will get you through most any stage. No shoulder holsters or cross-draw rigs.

Rules: Basically, USPSA rules with TIME PLUS scoring. All calibers/power factors are scored the same.

Divisions:

Carry Gun
MUST shoot from concealment in standard concealed carry gear!!
Low Cap: = 10 rounds per magazine
High Cap: = 11 rounds per magazine and up
Revolver: = any revolver, any barrel length, any capacity

Action Pistol
USPSA rules apply towards equipment
Low Cap: = 10 rounds per magazine
High Cap: = 11 rounds per magazine and up
Revolver: = any revolver, any barrel length, any capacity

Limited to the first 30 shooters!

Cost: $20

This match has historically been very friendly to new shooters. We want to continue this tradition, so we ask for everyone to be on their best behavior and represent the shooting sports in a positive light.

10 rounds or less is considered low capacity at this match. My XDm holds 19, but I can download to 10 in a mag and shoot low cap, if I wanted, not that I will

My XDM holds 11+1, I shoot it the way I carry it, so I am in High Capacity. Shooting against guys carrying 20 or so rounds of 9mm.
No problem! Makes for some good competition and A LOT OF FUN!

My LC9 only hold 9 rounds that I shoot at the matches so bring your Glock 27 and have fun with us

I have a glock 27, and 2 or 3 different concealled holsters for it.
If you want to shoot on Sunday evening I will bring the holsters and let you try them out in the match and then you will get to shoot and get to try out some different holster to help you decide which to buy.
Just let me know and I will throw them in the range bag...

Thanks, Jeff. I've already ordered my holster...........or my wife did, for a Christmas Present. I only have two magazines...................and besides, I'm no-where near prepared to shoot in any kind of match. I'd sure like to come and watch, though. Is that possible if I'm not shooting?

Both are possible.
Bring your pistol and your magazines, and 100 rounds of ammo and I will bring you a couple holsters to pick from and a couple more magazines.
Then you can shoot.
You'll have fun if you come to the match and watch.
You'll have fun MORE if you come to the match and shoot.

Safety First has eyes and ears for use on the range. I have extra ears if you need them, but no extra glasses.

Te-he. Talk with my wife. She bought Director's Suite tickets for some chick-flic at the Moore Warren theater. I completely forgot. I'll shoot with you guys someday.............but for the sake of my marriage I'll be dutifully sittin' in the recliners at the Warren Sunday night, love'n every minute of the flick! (if Mamma ain't happy, ain't nobody gonna be happy!)
