I have never touched one let alone seen one in person. I'm wanting to get one to drop deuces or quads. I've been looking at the SSL8 and SSL12.

Am I better off getting two SSL8 or one SSL12?

I haven't seen what each one measure so I figure I would ask the Experts.
How much beltspace will they take up? Will two SSL8 be alot bigger then one SSL12?
I will still need room for regular caddies, I plan on keeping them for buckshot or slug weak hand load.

All info greatly appreciated!

Thank Marshal

I sell 8's the most. Go with an 8, IMO. The 12's come on a back bone and you MUST run the entire backbone, which takes up some real estate. The 8's are a little more versatile, as they are ideal for Quad loading or loading 2.

I have a 12 and a 16 round setup. I just drop dueces with mine. They are on a backbone. I need to get a couple of 8's for dropping the double Duece.
