Can't find a photo of a rolling cabinet from sams club that someone had reloading stuff on

It was one of those butcherblock top ones with the stainless sides and drawers.
The guy with the pic used it like an island. I've been thinking of this for awhile.
It was bumped maybe a few weeks ago.
Anyone remember where it was at on bs?

It is mine. It is two of the Sam's cabinets back to back with a top added. It measures 46" x 77". The 650 is now in the middle and the LnL is gone.

Ah, so you made a top for the cabinet! I wend and looked at these a few weeks ago, but something was long between that I saw and the photo I remember.
Did you use a solid core door, or glue up a top?

It is two 3/4" layers of MDX. I think that is what it is called. It is a very dense heavy material similar to particle board but much more durable. I screwed it to the top using trim screws. The have a very small torn drive head.
I clamp the two together at end.

Here is a picture right before I put the top on it. I had to fill the gap and wanted some overhang. The front one has a bit more overhang.

These are the screws I used.

The equipment is mounted on Inline Fabrication stands. I used insert nuts with 1/4x20 flat screws. This allows me to remove the equipment and put the screws back in. The IF mounts have quick change tops so I can move or substitute equipment.

I think it's MDO, medium density overlay rated for outdoor use. It is similar to MDF but has a resinous facing. I really like your setup and garage!

no, I think its MDF, the MDO usually has more of a melamine looking surface, I think. HDO would be crazy boss, its like sheets of heavy wood glass

I suppose one could just cut two full sheets to 46x77 if a non seamed top was important to you.
thanks for the intel, Rick

Sure. I cut it at 23x77 to allow me to separate and rearrange them. The original plan was to build a 48x144 bench top to go along the back wall. These would slide under it for storage both with drawers facing out. Then roll one out to get to the back drawers if needed. That would free up floor space to work on motorcycles or other projects. That is on my round2it list.

If leaving it place, I'd use a one piece top.
