Well, back story....last Sunday my grandmother passed away at almost 96 years. It was a tough week of course, especially for my mom who has had to care for her most of the last two years with little or no help from my uncles and some help from my aunt. She had Alzheimer's so for the last year or so she really wasn't there anymore. I hope to God I don't go that way. Neat lady. She was friends with Bonnie Parker of Bonnie and Clyde fame before they got together and she was probably the biggest fan of the Von Erich's, you know he ones. My grandfather left her in eath 35 years ago, he was the guy in the fedora and cover-alls in the shop wrenching on a sprint car with a stogie in his mouth. Loved poker. They are and will be missed.
Anyway, after the funeral I went out to my dads place for a day and got to cruise around the countryside in what you see below. A 1931 Ford Model A. Only things not stock are the dark metallic paint on the lower parts and it has a 12 volt system instead of 6. They won three trophies last weekend at a car show in Coleman, Tx.
