can I shoot slugs and buckshot through a light modified choke

The Internet is awash with conflicting information. Let's settle this once and for all, because people here have probably actually tried it.

I've shot 00 buck through Modified and Full chokes without asploding the gun, but it wasn't many rounds and maybe I just got lucky.

Light modified is the only choke I use.
If ya ain't supposed-ta yuse it fur that, then I may be dumm.

OK, Internet Court is adjourned. All the fudds saying that slugs through anything other than a cylinder choke will asplode the gun are banished to The High Road where they probably would have stayed anyway.

Slugs can be shot through any choke. Thats why they call them punkin balls. They rattle their way all the way down the barrel and come out at the end. Full chokes are fine.
Just think about it this way. If they would "splode" a full choke barrel they would not be in business much longer as the law suits would cover them up.
