So I traded for a Rem 870 Tactical and the stock has been coated in I guess you could call it a ACU MirageFlage pattern that I thought would grow on me but its not. Ill try to get a pic up later. But anyways can the finsh be removed or do I have to scuff it and recoat it

I've seen people use paint thinner. I had good luck with "Strip Klean" in a spray can from Wal Mart removing Krylon. I know it isn't near as stout as Duracoat, but this stuff is pretty damn potent. It would be worth a try.

Don't know how this stuff will work on a polymer stock but this is what it does for DC on metal.

Thats impressive but the label says not for use on synthetic surfaces. Most products Ive looked at say the same thing. I may just have to take it to Mike and have him coat it. Or maybe Ill just order the stuff and give it a try myself.

Oh yeah don't use the stuff I recommended on plastic. It really effed up my bath tub in my old apartment.

I just want to fill some balloons with it and throw it at peoples' guns at a range :P :P

Warning... Don't listen to things Taymoor says
