Also there should be a few 22 suppressors there on various host pistols and rifles so subsonic 22LR ammo is always in vogue.
Italics = unconfirmed (copied from last year)

Is there a post that outlines the format-rules-information for Shootzenfest? I searched it and couldn't find anything.
Frost usually posts a main thread where people say if they're coming or not (and what they're bringing) that contains the information on the location, rules, etc.

  • Bring factory ammo to shoot in other people's guns.
  • Don't shoot lead (non-jacketed) ammo through other people's cans without asking

Bump! (Took old thread and changed title to this year since no one posted in the last one)

Newcomers welcome?

I don't have much, but I can bring some pistols and my 12 ga.

I have:

M&P Shield
M&P9c
P89
Bodyguard w/laser (old version, not M&P)

Stevens model 320 (security version)

Frost always has some sort of crazy pistols.

Forgot to mention some of my newer stuff I'll be bringing:
45ACP: FN FNX45 Tactical with RMR and Osprey 45 can
5.56: DMR Build (thread: viewtopic.php?f=4&t=9088 )
5.56: Adcor BEAR piston AR with forward charging handle.

At a Sch?tzenfest, contestants compete in a variety of shooting contests. The primary event is the paper target competition with .22 caliber rimfire rifles. Rifles are broken into two classes, target rifles and ?sporter? rifles used for hunting or plinking.

HUH

This guy has not been to our shooting fest.

our primary event is shooting lots of bullets sometimes fast, meeting new members and re meeting old members and eating hotdogs.

I think it is time that I spoke up about something...

The "Famous " Shootzenfest hot dogs are...history...they will be no more...

I am very sorry to have to tell everyone...but, my wife had to retire for medical reasons and so we lost out " connection " to the hot dogs....

I'm sure we can figure something out :)

After probably 4 years I'm hopefully going to have the mm23 up and running. Someone with greater working knowledge has the gun (manufactor) and sear currently and are getting the two to play nice together.

That sounds awesome! :D

Unless something unexpected happens I plan on being there. Not sure what I will be bringing yet though.
