As most of you know, cabelas is opening their store in Greenville on April, 3. Thursday. I am going to be there for the opening. I am a huge fan and always have been.

If anyone wants to share a ride or caravan up there let me know. I have room for three more adults. Probably will be up there for at least 3 hours. Give or take. We can meet at the shop in mt pleasant and or pick up on the way out of town. It is a3 hour drive as we'll.

Looking at some thermal devices and would love to see them in person. Crossbow stuff as we'll.

The new Cabela's in Augusta is opening this Thursday, 3/20. Just thought I'd throw that tidbit in there since Augusta is a little closer to Mt. P than Greenville is. However, this Augusta store is only 42,000 sq ft compared to the 100,000 sq ft Greenville store. Unless you're planning on buying a handgun since the one here is in Georgia.

That is sweet to hear that Cabelas is opening soon. I travel to Greenville every 4 or 6 weeks. When I was there about 2 weeks ago, it looked close to finished. Does anyone know if there are any grand opening specials?

Andy. Thanks. I knew that was opening soon but not when. I have a show in cola this weekend and am going to be busy the day before. It is an ideal spot for you.

And as for specials, I am sure they will have some. I just will need some coffee. It will be an early day start.

Those were the days.

I wish on so many levels they were available.

i guess not. it said sold out when i clicked. no price.
I meant when the store opens. These are "almost" always out of stock online. Hopefully they are out of stock online because they are all in the Greenville store!

I live about 15 minutes from the one in CT. I find myself there at least three times a month.

I love me some Cabela's. Glad a store has opened in SC. Too bad it's not in the Charleston area. I used to shop at one the Nebraska stores when I was stationed out that way.

I was there yesterday along with about a million other people. It's a very nice store but I won't be buying any guns there. Prices are high, especially considering PSA is right across the street. They do have a good selection of ammo and accessories. I was hoping to find some pistol powder but they had none.

first post, long time lurker.
nice store, was there at 9 and walked in at 11. grabbed a few boxes of ammo and toured the store with the family. they had plenty of ammo and limiting 22@1 box. when we walked out at 1145 it was reported there was a 3hr wait to get in.

Coworker made it in and out during his lunch hour - obviously he didn't have to wait to get in. Maybe a 3 hour wait to get out. He didn't buy anything due to what he described as Black Friday crowds at the checkouts. I didn't notice unusually bad traffic on Woodruff Rd.
