Burris Eliminator III

I've read about this scope. I have mixed feelings about it.
Rifle shooters in the past for the most part have practiced with their guns, getting the ballistics info by shooting.
Memorizing the data, or creating cheat sheets taped on the stock(my method, although I rarely look at it as its committed to memory).

This scope, if all the claims are true, allows somebody to go buy a gun, mount the scope and shoot long distances without lots of range time. The controls look complicated, and seems like it would require a lot of time to get on target. Some places you have the time, other places, you better have it memorized.

Is this a bad thing?

Maybe to a purist, but it seems we all live a busy life now. If a person doesn't have the place/time to spend quality time at a range to develop a load, etc, this might be the answer.

BTW, I want that guys title in the video.

Professional hunting consultant. I like that.

Wonder what the gig pays?

they just came out with a new one, 3x12x44mm, I brought it for $1075 I feel this is the cheapest for this model, it comes with a ballistic chart, I had to but a riser for my AR15, but when wilshire gun opens I will be there
