Are there that many options out there? I was just gonna get the good deal on the JP low mass setup and be done with it. Are there any other viable options for 3 gun setups?

I personally have no idea

I was going to vote for the JP LMOS, but yeah there are a few options. Like in the way of coatings & such. BCM make a nice one, spikes as well. But for the ultimate 3-gun rifle, I'm thinking the LMOS. But remember part of the LMOS is the buffer, which is rifle length, so it will not work with the stock we have. The normal carbine buffer is supposed to be the same weight but we should probably verify first. Fortunately, with the adjustable gas system of the LMOS the rifle should be tunable to the buffer & run like a champ, regardless. But the beauty of the LMOS is the reduced weight moving around, thus reducing the amount of recoil. So, we should try to get the buffer as close to the same weight as possible.
 
I was in email contact with JP back and forth last week. We are going to speak after the SHOTSHOW and I will get his input - show him what we have picked out and see what he says. I would imagine he would be the guy that knows more than anyone.

The next step is for me to start getting all the parts together from the sponsors who have donated then - then to take inventory and purchase the rest. Stay tuned everyone. Pics as the parts start rolling in.
 
Its a 3 gun competition rifle as we originally voted on. No need for irons if the user wants to put a scope on it.
 
I was thinking Vortex. They have been sponsoring every major 3 gun match and Jerry Miculek. They are after ad space and we got that! I happen to know the marketing guy too;)
