Any thoughts on this 85% scale 1911. Seems like a good training 1911 for the younger shooters.

Browning has alway been expensive. I have a grandson (actually 4 and a granddaughter) but one in particular is all Army. He is 6 now but they are in Germany. I know, when he gets back to the states in a couple of years, he would love shooting and cleaning a gun just like his dad?s. Maybe they can come home after one more deployment or after the election.

In my experience, the Sig 1911-22 is by far the better gun if you don't want/need the scaled down version.
