How long did it take you to get back to shooting after a broken collar bone? I had the surgery and have the plate and screws to hold it together. I hope to be out of the immobilizer sling next week.

22lr about 3 mo and when you get into the center fire stuff depending on caliber it could be awhile, thing about breaking stuff it takes longer to heal up since ya ain't a spring chicken :) don't rush it or it could take longer to heal! I still recall that first 308 round I torched off after mine and it was 6 months after the break! but I'm no spring chicken either lol later,

Maybe this would be a good excuse to buy that 10/22 target barrel and the T36.

I don't know about a collar bone... but when my mother had her triple by-pass.. the doc told her not to strain her chest muscles for at least 1 yr in order to allow the area to heal completely.
