Greetings,

New to the site (obviously since I'm posting here). I look forward to getting to know this community. I have a feeling a lot of you may belong to other forums I visit. I am a fan of all guns. 'm a 1911 guy; however enjoy and own Glocks. Have some feared Black Rifles as well. Pretty laid back and easy to get along with. That's about it for a high level intro.

Just plinking or shooting at the range. I enjoy shooting sporting clays, that's a great time. I've never taken an opprotunity to shoot in any pistol or 3 gun events. I need to try that someday, everyone says it's a great time.

I used to love sporting clays myself until I found USPSA then I found 3 gun and was like, elephant dung! they shoudl let us shoot all 10 sporting clays stations at once and just run inbetween them. Seriously if you enjoy shooting you owe it to yourself to come shoot a match. The adrenaline of running with scissors is a nice rush but the adrenaline of running with your AR or your pistol is like crack! Then you got the adrenaline of seeing Tony Wall run with a loaded gun and thats a whole nother set of adrenaline/fear combo thats exillerating as well. LOL!

Jesse, I checked out a lot of you videos. Does look like a lot of fun. How much ammo do you go through in a single match (approx)?

Yeah the ammo cost can add up fast! That is why most of us relaoad.

A pistol match is anywhere from 50-200 rounds depending on whcih club and how many stages.

The 3 gun is about 75-125 of each gun.

Its like an expensive round of golf and you loose your ball every shot.
