Getting my first AR today and trying to plan a setup for 3-Gun. Wondering if I can get a no frills 1-4x scope for a couple hundred bucks, or if I'm going to be looking at $1,000+? Googling around most of the ones I see recommended are AT LEAST $899. I've always been an iron sights guy, so I know nothing about scopes and wouldn't know a good one if it bit me in the butt. :)

Hah, you need to open your own store Jesse. ;)

Is okcgc having a three gun in a couple weeks? Might borrow one before hand to try it out and give 3 gun a go.

I do have my own store...

www.MakeReadyProShop.com

No need to go anywhere else.

I have a brand new in the box scope I need to get mounted which you could use in your gun. If you want to pull the trigger a few times on my gun with one ready to go your welcome to do that too.

Got any used ones? I don't really like borrowing brand new toys from people so I don't feel bad when I break it. ;)

I don't usually shoot them in matches. They are on my .22 and training guns. I use the Swarovski in matches. Remind me ahead of time and I bring the training rifle with me to the match.

No big deal, I borrow elephant dung from him all the time and break it and then return it without telling him. He won't notice it for a few months, then he will just think he broke it. That's what I call a WIN-WIN

i put a thin coat of oil on it so he drops it when I hand it to him, then I say "what'd you do?"

So the key thing to remember here is if I ever borrow something "new" from Jesse and it's broken, to just blame Burk and send him the bill? Roger that ...

Speaking of broken I think part of my front sight on that shotgun Burk borrowed must be in a barrel out at okcgc.

Nah it probably came off when I took it out of the bag.

was the gun oily when he gave it back? Did you drop it?

I need one with a blue reticle. Probably really hard to see, but damn I love me some blue LEDs. Lol :)

I have a 6 month old Burris Mtac 30 for sale with a Burris Quick detach PEPR mount + switchview lever and butler creek caps for $540 delivered if you are interested.
