Finally got my first AR! After much agonizing and research i settled on the Rock River ATH (advanced tactical hunter) Carbine. Paid right at $1200 for it and it got every feature i was after. here are the specs...

Love this thing. i've taken it to the range just once and it ate up tula rounds without a hiccup. range was so busy i didnt really have a chance to zero my sights so i'll have to wait until next time to see how it does at distance. it shot very tight groups at 25 yds as it should but everything was about 6" high. i'll get that fixed next time out. i'm really interested to see what it can do out past 300 yds and of course i'm dying to get it out in a gun competition.
